What are the different labels and types under them on KoinX?

The labels help you navigate the KoinX transaction page better. It helps you to look for particular types of transactions for better navigation.

All possible types of transactions that you can find are-

  • Deposit: Funds credited to your exchange account from an external source.

  • Withdrawal: Funds from your exchange account to an external wallet or bank.

  • Trade: Spot exchange of one asset for another at market rates.

  • Margin Trade: Spot trade executed using borrowed funds to open a leveraged position.

  • Futures Trade: A Contract to buy or sell an asset at a predetermined future date and price.

  • Expense: Any cost or fee recorded against your account (e.g., gas or service fees).

  • External Deposit: On-chain transfer into the platform from a non-custodial wallet.

  • External Withdraw: On-chain transfer out of the platform to an external wallet.

  • Buy: Acquisition of a crypto asset using fiat or another cryptocurrency.

  • Sell: Disposal of a crypto asset in exchange for fiat or another cryptocurrency.

  • Swap: Instant peer-to-peer trade of one asset for another without an order book.

  • Lend: Provision of crypto assets to a lending pool or counterparty in exchange for interest.

  • Borrow: Receipt of assets from a lending pool or counterparty, creating a debt obligation.

  • Lend Settlement: Return of lent assets plus interest to the lender at loan maturity.

  • Borrow Settlement: Repayment of borrowed assets plus interest to the lender.

  • Fixed Deposit Lock: Assets locked into a time-bound savings or staking product.

  • Fixed Deposit Unlock: Release of locked assets plus earned interest after maturity.

  • Receive from Pool: Withdrawal of assets (and any accrued rewards) from a liquidity or staking pool.

  • Send to Pool: Contribution of assets into a liquidity or staking pool.

  • Reward: Incentive tokens distributed for participation (e.g., staking or referrals).

  • Refund: Return of funds due to a cancelled transaction or fee reversal.

  • Staking Interest: Yield earned by locking assets in a proof-of-stake network.

  • Airdrop: Free distribution of tokens by a project to promote adoption.

  • Receive Loan: Initial disbursement of borrowed assets into your account.

  • Repay Loan: Payment of principal and any accrued interest back to the lender.

  • Collateral Lock: Assets pledged as security for a loan or margin position.

  • Collateral Unlock: Release of pledged assets after loan repayment or position closure.

  • Funding Interest: Interest component of periodic payments between longs and shorts in perpetual contracts.

  • Funding Fee: A Fee exchanged between traders to keep perpetual futures prices aligned with spot.

  • Futures Realised Profit: Net gain from closing a futures position.

  • Futures Realised Loss: Net loss from closing a futures position.

  • Futures Fee: A fee charged for executing a futures contract trade.

  • Options Realised Profit: Net gain from exercising or closing an options contract.

  • Options Realised Loss: Net loss from exercising or closing an options contract.

  • Options Fee: Premium or trading fee paid to enter an options contract.

  • Brokerage or Gas Fee: Transaction cost paid to the exchange (brokerage) or network (gas).

  • Margin Interest Payment: Interest charged on funds borrowed for margin trading.

  • Salary: Regular crypto-denominated compensation for employment.

  • Consultancy Income: Crypto received as payment for professional services.

  • Mining Income: Tokens earned through proof-of-work mining activities.

  • Mining Expense: Costs incurred for mining operations (e.g., electricity).

  • Donation: Voluntary transfer of crypto assets without expectation of return.

  • Consultancy Expense: Crypto spent on third-party professional services.

Each transaction is tagged with a specific label, and you can change it from the edit section of that particular transaction.

Note: You’ll only see labels for transaction types in your portfolio.
