# How to Generate Your Crypto.com Tax Report with KoinX

> Connect your Crypto.com Exchange account to KoinX in a few steps to generate tax reports compliant with your local jurisdiction.

## Connect Crypto.com to KoinX

**Crypto.com uses File Upload only - export Crypto Wallet, Cash Wallet, and Exchange history separately and upload all files together in one KoinX session.**

            Sign in to the Crypto.com mobile app.

            On the **Accounts** page, tap the **History** icon in the top right corner.

            Tap the **Export** button in the top right corner.
          </Step>

          <Step title="Select Crypto Wallet and date range">
            Select **Crypto Wallet** as the transaction type. Set the **Start** and **End Date** to cover your full history.

            Tap **Export to CSV**. Tap **Download** when the report is ready. Do not open the file.

              Each report covers up to 3 years. For longer histories, export multiple periods and upload all files together in KoinX. Also download your Cash Wallet history - switch to the Cash Wallet tab to continue.

            Navigate to the **Cash Wallet** page.

            Tap the **Export** button in the top right corner.

            Select the **Start** and **End Date** covering your full history. Tap **Export to CSV** and tap **Download** when ready. Do not open the file.

          Also download your Exchange history if you have used Crypto.com Exchange - switch to the Exchange tab to continue.

            Go to [crypto.com/exchange](https://crypto.com/exchange) and sign in.

            Click **Orders** -> **Spot** -> **Order History** -> **Export History**. Select **Spot Wallet - Order History** as the Transaction Type, set your date range, and click **Export to CSV**.

            Click **Wallets** -> **Spot** -> **Transaction History** -> **Export History**. Select **Withdrawals**, set your date range, and click **Export to CSV**. Do not open any downloaded files.

          All files downloaded - scroll down to the Upload to KoinX section to import everything at once.

    ## Upload to KoinX

      <Step title="Open KoinX Integrations">
        Log in to [app.koinx.com](https://app.koinx.com) -> **Integrations** -> **Add Integration**.

        Search for **Crypto.com** and select it.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Upload all your files">
        Click **Upload** and select all your downloaded CSV files - Crypto Wallet, Cash Wallet, and Exchange history. Multi-select works.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Submit">
        Click **Submit**. KoinX processes your files and imports your full transaction history.
      </Step>
    </Steps>

    <Check>
      **Done.** KoinX reads your transactions, classifies them, deduplicates overlapping records, and prepares everything for gains calculation and tax report generation.
    </Check>

    Now that your Crypto.com data is in, head to [Tax Reports](https://app.koinx.com/tax-report) on KoinX - your capital gains, staking income, and full report are ready to download.

      **Never open Crypto.com CSV files before uploading.** This corrupts the file format. Re-export fresh copies if you already did. Also note that download links expire after 30 days - download your files promptly after generating them.

## Frequently asked questions

  <Accordion title="How many files do I need to upload from Crypto.com?">
    Export all product types you have used - Crypto Wallet, Cash Wallet, and Exchange history. Upload all files together in one KoinX session for complete coverage. Missing any file will result in incomplete transaction history.

  <Accordion title="How long are Crypto.com export download links valid?">
    Downloads are only available for 30 days from the date of export. Download and store your CSV files immediately after generating them. If a link expires, generate a new export for the same period.

  <Accordion title="What if my pre-November 2022 Crypto.com data is missing?">
    Crypto.com transaction history before November 1, 2022 may not be available for self-service download. Contact Crypto.com support to request older historical data.

  <Accordion title="Does KoinX sync Crypto.com Exchange trades automatically?">
    No. KoinX does not fetch Crypto.com Exchange trades in real time. Upload the latest Trade Reports from the Exchange each time you want your data updated in KoinX.

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="CSV file won't upload to KoinX">
    Re-export the CSV directly from the Crypto.com app or Exchange and upload the fresh, unmodified file. Do not open it in Excel or Google Sheets before uploading.

  <Accordion title="Exchange trades are missing after upload">
    App and Exchange exports are separate. Go to **Crypto.com Exchange** -> **Orders** -> **Spot** -> **Order History** -> **Export History** and upload the Exchange CSV to KoinX alongside your App files.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Download link has expired">
    Crypto.com download links expire after 30 days. Generate a new export for the same date range from the app or Exchange and download it before the window closes.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Transactions are missing after upload">
    Ensure all required files were uploaded - Crypto Wallet, Cash Wallet, and Exchange history. If records from older periods are missing, note that pre-November 2022 data may require a request to Crypto.com support.

  <Accordion title="KoinX is showing duplicate Crypto.com transactions">
    This happens when overlapping CSV files covering the same date range are uploaded. Go to **KoinX** -> **Integrations**, remove the duplicate Crypto.com upload, and re-upload a clean set of files with no overlapping date ranges.

  <Accordion title="Cash Wallet transactions are missing from KoinX">
    The Cash Wallet export is separate from the Crypto Wallet export in the Crypto.com app. Navigate to the **Cash Wallet** page, tap **Export**, download the CSV, and upload it alongside your other files in KoinX.
