## Connect Currency.com to KoinX

    ## Generate your Currency.com API key

        Click on **API Integration** and then click **Generate API Key**.

        Set permissions to **Read** before clicking **Generate Key**.

          Select **Read** permissions only. Never enable trading or withdrawal permissions on an API key connected to a third-party service.

      <Step title="Copy your API key and Secret Key">
        Copy both your **API Key** and **Secret Key** and store them securely. The Secret Key is shown only once.

    ## Connect Currency.com to KoinX

        Log in to [app.koinx.com](https://app.koinx.com) -> **Integrations** -> **Add Integration**.

        Search for **Currency.com** and select it.

        Paste your **API Key** and **Secret Key** into the respective fields and click **Import Now**.

      **Done.** KoinX begins syncing your Currency.com history. Large accounts may take a few minutes.

## Troubleshooting

    Confirm the key was generated with Read permissions in **Currency.com** -> **Settings** -> **API Integration**. Delete the credentials in KoinX and re-enter both values carefully - copy directly from Currency.com to avoid invisible characters.

    Ensure the transaction history covers the full period from your Currency.com account creation date with no gaps. Trigger a manual re-sync from **KoinX** -> **Integrations** -> **Currency.com**. If records are still missing, disconnect and reconnect with a fresh API key.

    Check the Currency.com platform for ongoing maintenance. If the platform is operational, verify the key is still active under **Settings** -> **API Integration**. Regenerate if expired, re-enter credentials in KoinX, and trigger a fresh sync.
