# How to Generate Your Flitpay Tax Report with KoinX

> Connect your Flitpay account to KoinX in a few steps to generate and file your Flitpay taxes accurately. Tracks Section 194S TDS and generates an ITD-compliant Schedule VDA report.

## Connect Flitpay to KoinX

**Flitpay uses File Upload only - export your account statement and upload it to KoinX.**

    ## Download your Flitpay account statement

      <Step title="Log in to Flitpay">
        Go to [flitpay.com](https://www.flitpay.com) and sign in to your account.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Open the Wallet tab">
        Navigate to the **Wallet** tab in the top navigation bar.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Click Account Statement">
        Click **Account Statement**.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Select report type and period">
        Select your **Report Type** and the **Duration** you want to cover. Set the start date to the day you created your Flitpay account to capture your complete history.

          Download transaction reports from the day you created your Flitpay account. Partial exports lead to missing transactions and inaccurate tax calculations.

        Click **Generate Report**. Flitpay will send the report to your registered email address. Download the file from the email. Do not open it before uploading.

      KoinX does not sync Flitpay transactions in real time. Generate and upload a fresh account statement whenever you want your latest transactions reflected in KoinX.

    ## Upload to KoinX

      <Step title="Open KoinX Integrations">
        Log in to [app.koinx.com](https://app.koinx.com) -> **Integrations** -> **Add Integration**.

      <Step title="Select Flitpay">
        Search for **Flitpay** and select it.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Upload your file">
        Click **Upload** and select your downloaded Flitpay account statement file.
      </Step>

      <Step title="Submit">
        Click **Submit**. KoinX processes your file and imports your full transaction history.
      </Step>
    </Steps>

    <Check>
      **Done.** KoinX reads your transactions, classifies them, and prepares everything for gains calculation and report generation.
    </Check>

    Now that your Flitpay file is in, head to [Tax Reports](https://app.koinx.com/tax-report) on KoinX - your capital gains across trades, staking rewards, and withdrawals are already calculated and your report is ready to download.

      **Never open the Flitpay report file before uploading.** This corrupts the file format. If you already did - generate a fresh report from Flitpay and upload that instead.

    Set the start date to the day you created your Flitpay account and the end date to today to capture your complete history. Partial exports lead to missing transactions and inaccurate tax calculations.

    No. Flitpay does not support real-time syncing. To ensure your latest transactions are reflected in KoinX, generate and upload a fresh account statement following the steps above whenever needed.

    Flitpay sends the account statement to your registered email address after you click Generate Report. Download the file from the email and upload it directly to KoinX without opening it.

    Yes. The Indian government mandates that all crypto investors and traders report digital asset transactions under VDA law, which imposes a 30% tax on gains. Transactions from all exchanges, including Flitpay, must be reported to avoid future complications.

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="Report file won't upload to KoinX">
    Re-download a fresh copy of the statement from Flitpay without opening it. Opening the file in Excel or any other app reformats the structure and breaks the upload. Check your email for the original file sent by Flitpay and upload that directly.

  <Accordion title="Transactions are missing after upload">
    Check that your report start date covers the full history of your Flitpay account from the day it was created. Generate a new report with an earlier start date and re-upload it to KoinX.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Report generation email has not arrived">
    Check your spam or junk folder for the email from Flitpay. If it has not arrived after several minutes, log in to Flitpay and generate the report again. Ensure your registered email address is active and accessible.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Staking rewards are missing from KoinX">
    Confirm the report covers the full period of your staking activity. If rewards are still missing after re-uploading, generate a new report with an earlier start date that includes all staking transactions.

  <Accordion title="KoinX is showing duplicate Flitpay transactions">
    This happens when overlapping report files covering the same date range are uploaded. Go to **KoinX** -> **Integrations**, remove the duplicate Flitpay upload, and re-upload a single report covering your full history.

  <Accordion title="Wrong report type was selected on Flitpay">
    Delete the incorrectly uploaded file from **KoinX** -> **Integrations** -> **Flitpay**, then go back to Flitpay -> **Wallet** -> **Account Statement**, select the correct report type and period, and re-upload the new file.
