Ankit is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with a deep passion for businesses, economics, equity & crypto markets. He advises clients from MSMES to start-ups on financial accounting, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
In recent years, Ankit has developed specialised expertise in crypto taxation, helping investors and enterprises classify on-chain transactions, track cost basis, and meet evolving reporting requirements using platforms like KoinX.
Outside work, Ankit enjoys listening to music, playing snooker, and travelling.
At KoinX, Ankit contributed to key decisions on fundraising, M&A, due diligence, and developing KoinX’s tax-reporting features, ensuring the platform met business goals and regulatory requirements.
To build internal expertise at KoinX, he trained employees on transaction classification, cost-basis tracking, and compliance workflows, and he led a series of lectures to guide the KoinX team through the nuances of crypto taxation.
Earlier in his career, he served on the core audit team for a major steel-manufacturing client, conducting detailed risk assessments and statutory audits.
Drawing on over a decade of experience, he has also guided numerous individuals and businesses in structuring their direct and indirect tax liabilities.
