The April 2025 release introduces key updates to KoinX, including portfolio spam management, IRS Form 8949 support, a revamped Refer & Earn program, new chain and exchange integrations, and improvements to existing features. Here's what's new:

Spam Functionality - Portfolio Page

We introduced mark as spam or not spam functionality in December 2024 (opens in a new tab), and now we have extended this feature to the portfolio page. Users can now mark any coin as spam directly from the portfolio page, making it easier to manage their portfolio and filter out unwanted coins. This feature is designed to enhance user experience and provide more control over the portfolio.

IRS Form 8949

We've extended the list of reports available for download to our users and added IRS Form 8949 report. This report is essential for US taxpayers who need to report capital gains and losses from the sale of cryptocurrencies. Now you can download your tax liability related data in IRS Form 8949 format directly from KoinX, making it easier to file your taxes accurately and efficiently.

Refer & Earn UI Enhancements

We've updated our refer and earn page to make the design more intuitive and user-friendly for easier navigation and understanding of the program. Do refer your friends, win XPs and get discounts on KoinX tax report plans. Here's a brief overview of how the program works:

• Earn 10% coins: For every friend you refer, you will earn 10% coins on their purchases.
• Redeem coins: You can redeem these coins on your future purchases.
• Get discounts: The more friends you refer, the more coins you earn, and the bigger the discount on your KoinX tax report plans.

New Integrations

We've integrated several new exchanges and chains to KoinX, expanding our coverage. Here are the details of the new integrations:

Improvements to Existing Integrations

We've made several improvements to our existing integrations to enhance performance and reliability. Here are the details of the updates:

• Added support for "Express Order History", "DualAsset Swap History" and "Fiat Deposit and Withdrawal History" on Bybit
• Started supporting more transaction history files from DyDx and CoinEx
• Improved Solana, Tron & EVM chains integrations to ensure all transfers are correctly captured

Minor Changes

• Financial Year - Previously Generated Reports: We have started displaying financial year along with the previously generated reports, so as to help users easily identify reports for the specific financial year they are looking for.

  

• Explorer Redirection: Transaction addresses and hashes are now hyperlinked to their respective explorer pages. This allows users to quickly navigate to the relevant explorer page for detailed transaction information with just a click.
