Rob is a former physicist and mathematician with experience working on Bitshares, BlockPay, Zclassic, Seasteading and Bitgate. He's currently a PhD Candidate in Finance researching cryptofinance and teaching “Bitcoin & Blockchain Applications in Finance. Rob holds an MBA in Finance & Marketing and the PMP certification. He is a passionate libertarian who advocates peace, freedom, and respect for individual life.

Rolf is an experienced business owner in the IT industry and owns a mid-size mining operation. With prior experience at Cisco systems, the semiconductor industry, and as a nuclear trained officer in the US Submarine force, Rolf brings leadership, management, and technical operational expertise to the Zen organization.

With more than 15 years of experience, Alberto gained deep knowledge of software design and development in many application fields with strong expertise in different languages such as Java, C, and C++. In the last years, he covered the role of CTO in a startup company, designing the software architecture and selecting the team to create one of the most complete video engagement solutions on the market.

Rosario has over 12 years experience as a technology project manager for satellite, aircraft, and software systems. She has demonstrated expertise in all aspects of project management, leading cross-functional teams, and implementing both Agile and Lean methods. Rosario has a M.S. in Systems Engineering and the PMP certification.

Rowan is an experienced leader who owns and operates a mid-sized mining operation in Scotland. He has over a decade of experience in business development, sales, and commercial management, spanning the oil and gas, IT, and blockchain industries. He's passionate about breaking down technical barriers to bring the benefits of new technology to mainstream markets.

Gustavo is a web developer and entrepreneur with extensive experience supporting cryptocurrency projects. When not in front of a computer he can be found cycling up hills sporting his Pantani Jersey. He believes life should be kept simple and enjoys helping others.

Dean Steinbeck is a corporate attorney with a focus on data privacy and technology. He has over a decade of experience representing traditional VC-backed software development companies, most recently serving as General Counsel to TigerConnect, a secure and regulatory compliant communication platform used in over 4,000 healthcare facilities. Dean holds a JD from UC Berkeley School of Law and a MSc in Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics.

Lucy is a marketer and entrepreneur with 12+ years of experience across a variety of business sectors. She left her home in the coastal mountain region of rural China at a young age and began a more than decade long journey throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the US that served to give her a rich and in-depth education into successfully overcoming cultural differences to building strong and innovative global organizations. During those years, she worked in strategic business development, marketing and communication at several companies. She was a co-founder and marketing director of a cooperate consulting company in Asia and later became an owner of a design studio. She thrives on challenges, particularly those that expand the company’s reach.

Jonathan holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and has 10+ years of marketing experience at companies like Amazon.com, Uber, and Accenture. He’s also the founder of several retail startups focusing on technology and travel. As a former Army officer, Jonathan led humanitarian assistance missions in Djiobuti, Uganda and Tanzania. His array of experience and passion for helping others brings a unique outlook to the Horizen team.
