Log in to app.koinx.comIntegrationsAdd Integration.

Select Bitcoin

Search for Bitcoin in the integrations list and select it.

Enter your public wallet address

Paste your public Bitcoin wallet address into the address field, then click Connect.
KoinX only requires your public wallet address. Never enter your private key or seed phrase — not here, not on any platform.

Wait for sync to complete

KoinX fetches all on-chain Bitcoin transactions linked to your address. Once sync completes, your entire Bitcoin history is in KoinX.
Done. KoinX has your complete Bitcoin transaction history.
Head to Tax Reports to generate your crypto tax report.

Verify your Bitcoin transactions

Navigate to the Bitcoin integration

In KoinX, go to IntegrationsBitcoin. Your connected wallet address and transaction count are displayed here.

Verify transactions are present

Confirm that sends, receives, and transfers are listed correctly.

Review any unclassified transactions

Click on unclassified transactions to assign the correct category.

Confirm portfolio reflects BTC holdings

Navigate to Portfolio to confirm your BTC appears with correct current value and unrealised gains.
After sync, the Bitcoin integration page shows your wallet address, transaction count, and last-synced timestamp. Your Portfolio page reflects your BTC balance.
Verify the wallet address under IntegrationsBitcoin and refresh the sync. If you use multiple addresses (e.g., HD wallet with many derived addresses), add each address separately.
Click on any unclassified transaction and assign the correct category. Contact KoinX support if a large number remain unclassified.

Troubleshooting

Why this happens: The wallet address entered was incorrect or the sync is still in progress.Fix: Go to IntegrationsBitcoin and verify the wallet address shown. If wrong, remove and re-add with the correct address.
Why this happens: HD (hierarchical deterministic) wallets generate many derived addresses from one seed. KoinX syncs per individual address.Fix: Add each Bitcoin address separately under the Bitcoin integration.
Why this happens: Bitcoin wallets with long history take longer to process.Fix: Wait up to 10 minutes. If not resolved, remove and reconnect the wallet.
Why this happens: A temporary connection issue during sync.Fix: Go to IntegrationsBitcoin and click Reconnect. Remove and re-add if the error persists.
Why this happens: N/A — KoinX deduplicates automatically.Fix: No action needed. Reconnecting will not create duplicate records.
